For Immediate Release 2019-2020 Season Update Part 2

In preparation for the 2019-2020 season, the Vito’s are drawing on experience and leadership from within their organization, announcing that Team Staff member Alex Carter will take the reins as Head Coach. “Our organization is all about helping people do the best they can, and that includes our team staff. Alex has been a coach that we’ve had our eyes on for some time, and we were glad that he joined us last season as an assistant coach. He has exceptional coaching experience and he’s had the incredible opportunity to learn from Randy and Tim Jones and the rest of our staff, as well, including Moe Arseneault and Mark MacDonnell, so we have confidence that Alex will do great things for our program”, Georgoudis explained. In addition to his work in the Vito’s organization, Carter has a stellar resume that includes 5 years as head coach of the KV Bantam AAA Major Kings and 3 seasons as an assistant coach in the KV Midget AAA Spartans organization. He is a Hockey Canada High Performance-certified coach and he has experience coaching in the Hockey New Brunswick Program of Excellence, as well. Carter will be joined by returning coaches Mark MacDonnell, Maryelle Hannam, and Todd Baird, as well as long-time trainer Colin MacKenney. Long-time assistant coach Moe Arseneault has accepted a promotion to full-time Director of Hockey Operations, a move that leaves open another position on the coaching staff that will be filled later in the spring.
